Chess in Schools Program

We conduct a dedicated Chess in Schools Program, where chess is taught as a subject rather than an activity. This initiative helps students develop structured thinking, focus, and discipline from an early age.

The program is currently active in several schools across Mysore and continues to expand.

We teach chess to students aged 5 years and above. Our school chess programs focus on:

Building strong chess fundamentals
Developing concentration, logical thinking, and discipline
Encouraging students to think ahead and make better decisions

Lessons are designed to suit beginners as well as students with prior chess experience.

Our school chess clubs are conducted by experienced and trained chess coaches who have a strong background in both playing and teaching chess.

To ensure quality learning:

Coaches are trained to work with children of different age groups
Classes are kept small for effective learning, with close attention to each student

Students receive personal guidance and encouragement during sessions

We believe every child learns differently. Our lessons are:

Tailored to each student’s age, skill level, and learning style
Conducted using interactive boards, demonstrations, and guided practice
Designed to be engaging, structured, and easy to understand

Our approach ensures steady improvement while keeping students interested and motivated.

Chess club sessions can be conducted:

During lunchtime, or
After school hours, based on school preference

Each session typically runs for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the age group and school schedule.

Program Structure & Fees

School chess programs are organised on a term basis, in coordination with school management. Program structure and fees are discussed directly with the school to suit their requirements.
